Privacy Policy

B Safe Advisor Group LLC ("I" or "me") is a Virginia security consulting, private investigations, and training business. This policy explains what information I collect through bsafeadvisor.com, how I use it, and the choices you have.
Information I Collect
- Information you send me. If you use the contact form, call, text, or email me, I receive what you provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, how you prefer to be reached, what you need help with, and a short description.
- Course registrations. If you register a student for a course, I collect the student's name, grade, and course, and a parent or guardian's consent. I collect information about a student only from a parent or guardian.
- Technical information. Like most websites, the site and its hosting provider may automatically record your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you visit, and the date and time.
- Analytics. The site uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused service, to understand how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, their approximate location, and the device and browser they use. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal information such as your name or email address. I also count clicks on the call, text, email, and message buttons. I do not use analytics for advertising.
Please Do Not Send Sensitive Details Through the Site
Do not include Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive details in the contact form or in an initial email or text. Those are for a phone conversation or a secure channel that I can provide as needed. Email, text, and the contact form are not guaranteed to be secure.
How I Use Information
- To respond to your request and schedule a consultation.
- To provide services you ask for, including courses.
- To keep the website working, secure, and useful, including understanding how visitors use it so I can improve it.
- To meet legal and licensing obligations and to protect my rights.
I do not sell your personal information. I do not share it for advertising. Analytics information is used only to understand and improve the website.
Who Receives Information
I share information only with the service providers that help me run the site and my business, such as website hosting, the contact form service, website analytics (Plausible), and email and phone providers, and only as needed for those services. I may also disclose information when the law requires it, to respond to a valid legal process, or to protect safety. If the business is ever sold or transferred, information may transfer with it.
Client Matters
Information about an engagement is handled under the written contract for that engagement and under the confidentiality duties that apply to a licensed private investigator. This policy covers the website. It does not weaken those commitments.
Calls, Texts, WhatsApp, Signal, Facebook, and Instagram Messages
I use calls, texts, WhatsApp, Signal, Facebook, and Instagram messages to reply to people who contact me and to coordinate consultations and services. I do not send marketing messages. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
Children
The website is for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through the site. Courses for students are purchased and consented to by a parent or guardian, who is my point of contact. If you believe a child has sent me information, contact me and I will delete it.
How Long I Keep Information
I keep contact form and email inquiries only as long as needed to respond and to keep ordinary business records. Client records are kept as the engagement contract and the law require. All records, including records of work performed under my Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services license, are kept for five years, unless the law or a client engagement requires a longer period.
Security
I use reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your Choices
You can ask me to correct or delete information you sent through the site, or to stop contacting you, by emailing contact@bsafeadvisor.com. I will honor the request unless the law or a client engagement requires me to keep the information.
Links to Other Sites
The site may link to other websites. I am not responsible for their privacy practices.
Changes to This Policy
I may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
