B Safe Advisor Group in Loudoun County

My business is based in Ashburn, in Loudoun County. Whether your home, office, or organization is in Leesburg or in another Loudoun County community, you work directly with me, not with a rotating team.

Loudoun County's rapid growth has added new businesses, neighborhoods, traffic, and construction, so the security and safety risks that residents, businesses, and organizations face can change every year or even faster.

As a Loudoun County resident and a member of the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, I am deeply familiar with these changes, and I know the diverse security needs of our community firsthand. I look forward to helping keep your family, organization, and our community safe together.

Security in Loudoun County

Loudoun County combines fast-growing suburbs, historic towns, farms, vineyards, a large concentration of data centers, and a major international airport, Washington Dulles International Airport. It also has a significant presence of federal government offices, federal government contractors, technology companies, and aerospace companies. Loudoun serves as both a bedroom community of Washington, DC, and an employment hub on its own.

That mix creates a wide range of security needs, including:

  • Restaurants, breweries, and wineries: late-night crowds, large events, and cash handling.
  • Private schools and childcare facilities: emergency plans for threats, medical emergencies, and missing children.
  • Nonprofits and houses of worship: open-door gatherings, large events, and donations.
  • Offices, medical and law practices, and contractors: sensitive information, valuable equipment, and insider threats.
  • Retail stores and shopping centers: shoplifting, organized retail crime, and payment fraud.
  • Families and individuals: threats, harassment, home security, and fraud, forgery, impersonation, and other scams.

Crime in Loudoun County is generally low and fell overall in 2025, but fraud-related crimes and scams are rising. Violent crime fell 8% from 2024 to 2025, while fraud-type crimes are up 6%. Within that category:

  • Forgery crimes are up 58%.
  • Impersonation crimes are up 26%.
  • Wire fraud crimes are up 13%.

Town police data shows increases in some of the same schemes. In Leesburg, forgery crimes are up 36% and impersonation crimes are up 25%. Purcellville saw an increase in credit card fraud. Source: Virginia State Police NIBRS, calendar year 2025 compared with 2024 for these crime statistics

The practical risk for most residents and businesses is financial fraud and identity crime, such as forged checks, credit card fraud, identity theft, impersonation scams, and account takeovers, not violent crime.

As a former federal special agent who investigated financial fraud and a Certified Fraud Examiner, I help organizations and families spot these schemes, tighten the controls that stop them, and investigate when a fraud scheme succeeds. Learn about my services, including investigations, training, security audits, and Security Director on Demand.

Concerned about fraud? Contact me for a confidential, complimentary initial consultation.

Percentages are based on crimes reported to police, not arrests or people. Figures come from the Virginia State Police NIBRS crime reports and the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office crime dashboard. Figures reflect calendar year 2025.

The cost depends on the services you choose and the size and needs of your organization, such as the number of locations and whether you need a one-time project or ongoing support through a Security Director on Demand contract.
